This course empowers residents to become engaged citizens by providing practical knowledge of how state government functions and the best way to connect effectively with their elected representatives. Participants will learn how to research legislative issues, formulate clear advocacy strategies, and communicate persuasively with policymakers. Step-bystep guidance is offered on navigating the legislative process and organizing impactful actions. Upon completion, participants will feel confident, equipped and empowered to take specific actions to engage state representatives and advocate for their community.
