Utilizing techniques learned in Beginning Guitar 2: The Next Step, such as strumming and picking or from other sources, this course focuses less on music reading and theory and more on ear training and improvisation. An introduction to “The Blues” is also included in the course. PLEASE NOTE: Students must possess a guitar to play and practice. ALC isn’t responsible for damage, loss, or replacement of your personal instrument. PREREQUISITE: 2126 (01), Beginning Guitar 2: The Next Step or equivalent knowledge (chord-melody and solo playing).
