Join us for the APDA Optimism Walk!

Walkers will come together nationwide in 2026 to step forward in support of all people affected by Parkinson's disease. Your fundraising dollars at the Norfolk, Virginia Optimism Walk for Parkinson's will go directly toward the local community, expanding local programs and services to help more people with Parkinson's disease live life to the fullest, as well as fund cutting-edge research to help find better treatments and ultimately, a cure. 

SATURDAY, MAY 2, 2026

Time: 8:00 am - Check-in opens 10:30 am - Opening Ceremony & Walk Starts

Location:  START AT HARBOR'S EDGE, WALK TO PLUM POINT PARK & ERT BRIDGE 801 SOUTHAMPTON AVENUE | NORFOLK, VA, 23510

There will be food trucks, a chance to meet with Riptide!, community art piece by the Chrysler Museum, face painting with Tidewater Arts Outreach, music, prizes, and more! Rain or shine!
