Saturday Sunrise Social Hike at First Landing State Park Start your weekend with fresh air, scenic trails, and great company! Join us every Saturday morning starting in April for a fun and energizing 3 to 5 mile group hike through the beautiful trails of First Landing State Park. This is a relaxed, welcoming hike for anyone who wants to get outdoors, stay active, and meet new people in the area. Whether you come every week or just whenever you can, you’re always welcome to join the group! ⸻ ⏰ Time Every Saturday (starting in April) – Weather permitting • Meet: 7:50 AM • Hike begins: 8:00 AM sharp ⸻ Meeting Location Enter the park from Shore Drive at First Landing State Park. After passing the guard gate, go to the first parking lot immediately on the right. We’ll gather there before starting the hike. Park Entry Fee • $7 per vehicle if you do not have a Virginia State Park pass. ⸻ Hike Details • Distance: About 4.6 miles • Pace: Moderate and social • Terrain: Some uneven trails and gentle uphill sections This hike is meant to be active but enjoyable, so we keep a steady pace while still being social. ⸻ Dogs Welcome Friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome to join the hike!
