The Virginia Beach Sheriff’s Office is hosting Inside the Academy, a free community event offering a behind-the-scenes look at how deputies are selected, trained and prepared to serve the community. Attendees will hear from training staff, learn about the hiring and training process, and have opportunities to ask questions.
